FastScribeX provides a free trial so you can evaluate the Service before subscribing. Paid subscriptions are generally non-refundable once any service usage begins, except where required by applicable law.
1. 24-Hour Unused-Service Refund Policy
You may request a refund within 24 hours of your subscription payment, but only if no service has been used and no quota has been consumed.
- The refund request must be submitted within 24 hours of the payment time
- Your account must not have uploaded files for processing
- Your account must not have created transcription jobs
- Your account must not have generated AI summaries or used AI chat
- Your account must not have consumed any paid plan quota
If approved, your subscription will be canceled and the eligible refund will be returned to the original payment method.
2. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please email us at [email protected] with:
- Your account email address
- Date and approximate time of payment
- Reason for refund (optional, but helps us improve)
We typically process approved refund requests within 3-5 business days. The refund will be credited to your original payment method.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- Requests made more than 24 hours after the payment time
- Any use of transcription, AI summary, AI chat, or other quota-consuming paid-service features
- Any paid plan quota consumption, even if the job is later deleted
- Renewals after you had a reasonable opportunity to cancel before the renewal date
- Accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service
- Partial refunds for unused time, unused quota, downgrades, or plan changes
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under applicable law.
4. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
- You will retain access to all features until the subscription expires
- No refund will be issued for the remaining time unless required by applicable law
- Your account will revert to the free tier after the subscription expires
